Office Manager: Kim Sandquist
Kim is the voice (and infectious laugh) on the phone and probably the first person to greet you when you arrive at Bloomington Family Chiropractic. She has been passionately helping patients at BFC for over 5 years, not only is she skilled at office and insurance related activities she has a passion for helping people as they strive to achieve better health.
Kim and her husband David, live in Eagan. They are parents of adult children: 2 boys and 2 girls (The oldest is in Real Estate, the next is a Chiropractor, next is a hair stylist, the youngest is a acupuncture student). In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, sewing, rubber-stamping and riding her new trike. We’re wondering if she can do some of these hobby’s simultaneously. Seeing how she is able to multitask running the office we’re guessing she can.

Chiropractic Interns
Bloomington Family Chiropractic is a teaching clinic. As such, you will encounter interns who are in the final stages of their educational training and are excited to be assisting in your care.
Chiropractic Interns: Winter 2011
Shanna Clabaugh: My name is Shanna Clabaugh, a chiropractic student at Northwestern Health Science University. I currently live in Bloomington with my husband and our beautiful son. Noah was born February 10, 2010. It has been fun watching him grow and learn so quickly. We also have a two year old English bulldog named Sarge.
I grew up in Jackson, MN with my parents and sister. Training and showing horse was a big part of my life. My job was at the local pool as a lifeguard and swimming instructor. I worked as a lifeguard until leaving for North Dakota State University in Fargo. I attended NDSU for three years before coming to chiropractic school.
Chiropractic was first introduced to me seven years ago to help with migraine headaches. It was very helpful in the management of headaches without medication and helped guide me down this career choice. I am interested in learning more about sports medicine, children, and pregnancy.
Annika Larson: I grew up in Minot, ND, attended Minot State University majoring in Biology. My first experience with chiropractic was in 2003 when I watched my show horse get adjusted by our chiropractic veterinarian. I was hooked from then on.
I have been on two chiropractic mission trips while in school. The first was to Cuba in July of 2009, and the other was to Trinidad and Tobago in October 2009. These trips solidified my decision to become a chiropractor and do a greater good for people.
While not in school, I enjoy riding horse, reading, spending time with friends and family, camping, fishing and being outdoors. I am very excited for this opportunity, and look forward to working in the clinic.
